Born in Lawrence, Cecil Township, Washington Co PA, daughter of William J. and Ella Jane Moore Boyce. Wife of James F. Yeckel, married 24 Oct 1912. Martha and James had two sons, William and David. Their sons, both pilots, were killed in WWII. Martha was a teacher and taught for many years in the Cecil Township schools. Later she worked for West Penn Power. Member of Fawcett Methodist Church where she was the organist for 50 years.
