Original burial record in Sexton's ledger says Mrs. W. A. Jones, born in GA (sic), died age 79 of dysentery, buried May 21, 1886 in Lot 953 of Section A as a Non-Resident of Columbus, GA, the Sexton was Abraham Odom. Later, when Emory Jefferson was sexton, it says Disinter remains of Andrew P. Jones and Mrs. Andrew P. Jones on April 30, 1921 from Lot 953 & 946 of Section 2 and reinter to Lot 6 of Letter "A" addition
Birthplace is supposed to be South Carolina, according to census info in 1850, 1860 and 1870

Christine - I thought you might like to know this woman is no longer buried in this lot (Autry A-92). She is the same person as Mem. #156035408. This woman has 2 entries in the sexton records: 1) originally buried 1886 in Sec 2 Lot 953 (city) Sec A Lot 92 (Autry). 2) moved in 1921 from that lot to Sec A Lot 6 (city) Sec A Lot 50 (Autry).
Birthplace is supposed to be South Carolina, according to census info in 1850, 1860 and 1870

Christine - I thought you might like to know this woman is no longer buried in this lot (Autry A-92). She is the same person as Mem. #156035408. This woman has 2 entries in the sexton records: 1) originally buried 1886 in Sec 2 Lot 953 (city) Sec A Lot 92 (Autry). 2) moved in 1921 from that lot to Sec A Lot 6 (city) Sec A Lot 50 (Autry).
