Lucian Caleb Carr was the son of Caleb Lorenzo Carr 1825-1868 and Frances C Baker 1835-1918.

He married Hallie May Mary Nellie Gillett 1860-1944, daughter of George G Gillett 1832-1920 and Nancy Jane Springer 1835-, on May 9, 1883.

They had one child, Edna Lucile Cecelia 1894 who married Arthur Peter Servoss.

Married in Mexico, New York on May 9, 1883 to Hallie May Gillette. She was of George and Nancy Jane (Springer) Gillette. She was born in Brasher, New York on Dec 7, 1860 and died in Williamstown on Nov 4, 1944.

Lucian and Hallie Carr lived their long lives in northern New York State village of Williamstown where they were among the most respected citizens. For many years Lucian operated a hardware store in the village of Williamstown. This store was housed in a building of his own planning and construction. Here he served the farming community around about with every thing in the line from sap buckets to machinery. Lucian is now (1947) hale and hearty at eighty eight and residing Williamswtown.

Lucian and Hallie were the parents of one daughter: Edna Lucile Carr b. Dec 30, 1894.

Lucian C Carr

Williamstown--Lucian C Carr, 91, a retired farmer and native of Williamstown, died Sunday at 123 Clyde ave, Syracuse, where he had been making his home since going to that city more than three years ago.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Lucile C Servoss, and a grandson, William Servoss, both of Amsterdam.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Fairfield and Mrech funeral home, Syacuse, the Rev. Dr. H. H. Downey officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.
