Velvie Bright, 77, of Boaz, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at her home.

Services were Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 1 p.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel with the Revs. Rickey Williams and Hershell Peppers officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Survivors include her sons, Joseph C. (Julia) Bright Jr., Noah C. Bright and Rickey Bright; daughter, Cynthia King; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Verlie Isom.
