Sanders, 79, of Winnfield died at 9:45 a.m. Tuesdsay, May 18, 1993, in Winn Parish Medical Center.
He was a native of Sikes and was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps. He also was a member of Union Baptist Church in Joyce.
Survivors include two sons, Jerald Sanders and Bobby Sanders, both of Winnfield; one daughter, Jo Anne Gregory of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Georgia Porter of Winnfield and Willie Warner of Little Rock, Ark.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of services Friday in the funeral home.
