Mrs. Crane 82, Is Dead Funeral Set

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Morrison Christian Church for Mrs. Ida A. Crane, 82, who died at her home in Morrison at 5:30 P.M. Thursday. Rev. Van Spurgeon of Stillwater will officiate with burial in the Sumner cemetery under direction of the Newton Funeral Home A pioneer of this area, Mrs. Crane was born Sept.11,1880, at Council Grove, Kansas. She moved to a farm near Guthrie in 1896 with her parents.. She was married Dec. 29, 1898, to Jackson W. Crane in Perry and they moved to a homestead three miles west and three north of Morrison. She moved into Morrison at the death of her husband in 1951. She was a member of the Morrison Christian Church and a Charter member of the Oak Grove home demonstration club. Survivor include one daughter, Mrs. Olive Gatewood, Morrison; a half-brother A.T. Siar, Dallas; four grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. One son, Alvin H. Crane, also preceded her in death.
