About two weeks before his death Mr. Boley had a fall from a motor cycle, breaking his arm and causing a serious wound. This seemed to be healing nicely until he bum0ped it against a piece of furniture. Indications of lockjaw were noticed, and he was started to Ottumwa in an automobile. He got as far as Birmingham but could not stand the trip, so he was taken to Ft. Madison by train. He was born in Cedar township on Jan. 28, 1885 and was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Boley.
