She united with the M.E. Church in 1875 and had always been a faithful member. She was united in marriage to John Edwards on Oct. 12, 1892, who preceded her in death April 20, 1918.
She leaves to mourn their loss, three brothers; Herman Collins of Portland, Ore., Frank Collins of Ft. Madison, and Winfield Collins of St. Joseph, Mo., and three sisters, Mrs. Leota Clark of Des Moines, Mrs. Margaret Corr of Hardner, Kansas and Elizabeth Lewis of Salina, Kansas; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services were held at the M. E. church in Bonaparte on Tuesday morning, August 23, Rev. Sam officiating. Interment in the Bonaparte cemetery.
