Ora divorced Henry on August 22, 1966 in Lexington, North Carolina. She remarried Wade Lee Varner Sr on September 18, 1966 in Davidson County, North Carolina. They divorced on July 17, 1986.
Ora passed away on May 13, 2007.

Funeral services for Frances Queen Varner, 80, of Crane Hill will be on Wednesday, May 16, 2007, in Lexington, N.C., with burial in Beulah Cemetery in North Carolina.
Mrs. Varner died Sunday, May 13, at her residence. She was born on Oct. 29, 1926, in Lexington, N.C., to Oscar Clinton Hartley and Laura Crews Hartley. She was an assembly line worker for Henry Link Furniture Company.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Linda Mae Queen; first husband, Henry Hasten Queen; second husband, Wade Varner; three sisters, Mary, Louise and Adie Mae; four brothers, Harvey, Clarence, Rob and Clinton; and a great-grandson, Seth Colten.
Survivors include a son, William "Jack" (Judy) Queen of Lexington, N.C.; a daughter, Becky Queen (Al) Barnette of Crane Hill; a brother, George Hartley of Welcome, N.C.; six grandchildren, Lashley Barnette and Lynn Wingo, both of Alabama, Lee Barnette of Florida, Renee Berrier, Rhonda Poydock and Tonya Bethea, all of North Carolina; 12 great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Melissa, Brandy, Jessica, Ashley, Marissa, Tyler, Hailee, Samantha, Nicholas, Alex and Jacob; and four great-great-grandchildren, Alee, Jacob, Kiara and Emily.
Visitation was Monday at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
