Ruby Harmon, one of the twins, was visiting her brother, Byrd Harmon, in Fort Worth, when she was taken with appendicitis. She was carried to Baptist hospital in Fort Worth for surgery. She was a member of the Baptist Church at Perrin. Her honorary pallbearers were her Sunday school teacher and class.
