Edith Louise (Graves) Gandee was the daughter of Carl Henry Graves and Bertha Sivera (Etier) Graves.
Granddaughter of Michael Jackson & Armanda Reuminia (Logan)Graves and Amos Franklin & Martha Jane (Grant) Etier.
Her siblings were; Winnie Irene (Graves) Fowler Perdue; Marvin Jack Graves and Robert Lee Graves.
Edith married Paul Gandee 11/19/1932 in the Dicey Community, Parker Co., TX. Reuben Ragle performed the ceremony. Paul and Edith started their marriage working for a dairy milking business. To their union they had three children: Carlene (Gandee) Snow; Martha Louise (Gandee) Riedel; and Sammie Leon Gandee, Sr. Edith and Paul continued to live near Dicey in the Friendship Community. Edith was known for her delicious candy and her cooking. She was also a very talented seamtress. At her death, Edith had 13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
