Marlton J. Lowry, 73, died on February 21, 1990 in Gunnison, Utah.


He was born in Manti on August 7, 1916 to J. Lawrence and Anna Jensen Lowry.


He married Georgia Mae Judd on June 28, 1939 in Manti, Utah. He was a farmer and stockman. Active member of the Manti 4th LDS Ward Church.


Survived by his wife, one daughter and one son, Mrs. Roland (Julia Ann) Christensen of Fayette, Utah; Walter H. Lowry of Pleasant Grove; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Ethel Handly, Salt Lake City; Elma Johnson of New York. He was preceded in death by one son, Judd Marlton Lowry.


Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 12 noon in the Manti LDS Stake Center, where friends call on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday 1 1/2 hours prior to the services.
Interment: Manti City Cemetery.
