Born in Las Cruces, New Mexico and a WWII U.S. Army Veteran, serving in Iran and Italy. Retired as Chief Building Maintenance Foreman for the L.A. Public Library for 32 years.


Joe is survived by Emma, his loving wife of 68 years, two children, Frank (wife Lois) and Martha (husband Don Camarillo) and grandchildren Carol, Neal, Christina, James and Michael and great-grandchildren Forrest, Garrett, Brock, Grant, Vincent, Nicole, Samantha, Joseph, Jacob, Jessica, Jonathon, Gloria and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins.


Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at Mirabal Mortuary, 2814 North Broadway on Thursday, March 5 at 7 p.m. A viewing will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church, South Pasadena on Friday, March 6 at 10 a.m.
Interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello immediately following.
