Born June 27, 1916, in White Cloud, Kan., she had lived in Alaska from 1953-1975, and worked as the head cashier in the commissary at Fort Richardson. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and the Radiant Church Assembly of God in Colorado Springs.

She leaves her husband, Herbert, of Colorado Springs; and her daughters, Darlene Kinder and Nadine Good, both of Colorado Springs, and Thadine Fincher of Anchorage. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs.
