Mrs. Church co-owned and was a member of the board of directors of KMBC radio from 1927 to 1954. She co-owned KMBC-TV from 1952 to 1954 and co-owned KFRM radio from 1938 to 1954, where she was also a member of the board of directors.
She attended Kingfisher College in Oklahoma and graduated from Graceland College, Lamoni, Iowa. She was a member of the Cheyenne Mountain Country Club, the El Paso Club and the Garden of the Gods Club, all in Colorado Springs. She was a member of the River Club in Kansas City. She was born in Avarua Rarotonga in the Cook Islands and lived in Oklahoma before she moved to Kansas City in 1918, and moved to Colorado Springs in 1955.
Her husband, Arthur B. Church , died in 1978. Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Mazzara, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a son, Arthur B. Church Jr., Colorado Springs; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

CICELY IDA CHURCH , 98, who with her husband was an active participant in early broadcasting in Kansas City, Mo., died July 30, 1994, at her Colorado Springs home.
A private graveside service will be held Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave. Swan Law Funeral Home, 501 N. Cascade Ave., is handling arrangements.
Friends may call at the family home after 2 p.m. Thursday.

Oceania, to Hubert and Alice (Montague) Case.
She was married in 1918 in Lamoni, Iowa, to Arthur B. Church , who is deceased.
She is survived by a son, Arthur B. Jr. of Colorado Springs; a daughter, Virginia Mazzara of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margret Cicely Battison.
