Brandy was a wonderful Bassett Hound that I enjoyed for 9 years. She enjoyed going for rides in the car with the window down so that her large ears could flap in the wind. She had one litter of puppies when she was 3 years old which consisted of 6 pups. Only 4 of the puppies survived to become adult dogs. She enjoyed her puppies and I kept one of the males (Barney) to give her company since she did not like the other 3 being carried away by a new owner. Brandy was put to sleep because of a progressive problem of lymph nodes and sweat gland tumors that after many years of surgery still persisted. Due to circumstances with my home, the remaining 3 years of Brandy's life was spent with her son, Barney and his owner in Rossville, Georgia. I would occasionally have visits from the hounds throughout the years and always missed them when they were gone. Brandy was truly a wonderful dog and I will always remember her and miss her.
