FITCHBURG- Eva M . (Locke) Gallien, 69, of 35 Proctor Ave., died yesterday in University of Massachusetts Hospital, Worcester, after an illness.
She was the wife of Albert J. Gallien.
Besides her husband, she leaves four daughters, Norma M . Egge and Alberta G. Seney, both of Fitchburg, Jean A. Brown of Shirley and Barbara J. Lindamood of Purcellville, Va.; a brother, Charles Locke of East Lempster, N.H., two sisters, Helen Gamblin of Leominster and Esther MacKenzie of Fitchburg, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Gallien was a former employee of Falulah Paper Co.
She was a member of the Pearl Hill Rebekah Lodge and the Wachusett Grange.
She was born in Leominster, daughter of Charles A. and Maude (Snow) Locke, and lived here 50 years.
Funeral services will be at 1 p. m . tomorrow in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster.
Calling hours at the funeral home are 7 to 9 tonight.
The Rebekahs will conduct a service at 7 tonight in the funeral home.
