George married Augusta M. (Winckelman) Bodensick (c.1828 - 8 Mar 1886) on 3 July 1846.
In the 1850 U.S. Census, George and Augusta were living in the 1st District of Baltimore County, Maryland, where he was a “miller.”
I can’t find George was in the 1860 U.S. Census. However, he is probably the George Bodensick who was a miller and living on Frederick (Road) at the toll-gate in the 1860 Baltimore City Directory.
In the 1870 U.S. Census, George and Augusta were living in Catonsville, Baltimore County, Maryland, and their son-in-law, Cornelius Brown, was living in the next household. George and Cornelius were both “millers.”
In the 1880 U.S. Census, George, Augusta, and their son, William Thomas Bodensick, were living in the 18th Ward of Baltimore City, Maryland, and George and William were “millers.”
Memorial card for George:
In Loving Remembrance of George Bodensick
Died April 18th, 1886. Aged 77 years.
Call not back the dear departed
Anchored safe where storms a?_____
On the border land we left him
Soon to meet and part no more.
Far beyond this world of changes,
Far beyond this world of care,
We shall find our missing loved one,
In our Father's mansion fair.
