Young Hester, 90 Buried Monday

Funeral services were held at the First Methodist Church here Monday at 2 p. m . for Young
Hester, 90, a resident of Loraine for the past 13 years. Officiating was the Rev Allen Adams, pastor.

Burial was In the Loraine Cemetery under direction of Kiker and Son Funeral Home of Colorado City.

Mr. Hester died shortly after midnight Saturday at his home here after a long Illness.
He was born June 12, 1867, in Bosque County, and lived In Brown County until he moved to Loraine 13 years ago. He was married to Sarah Elizabeth Earp In 1889 in Brown County. Mrs. Hester died July 3, 1957.

Mr. Hester was a member of the Methodist Church and the Masonic and Odd Fellow Lodges.

Survivors include two sons, Joe and Doyle of Loraine, two daughters, Mrs. E. D. Richardson and Mrs. S. T Byrd of Midland, one sister, Mrs. Amanda Allbrlght of Roswell, New Mexico„ and six grandchildren.
