Mrs. Brown was born March 18, 1951 in Vancouver, British Columbia, to Clyde Duckworth and the late Jacqueline Simpkin Duckworth. She served as an emergency 911 operator with Laurens County and formerly with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. She played the guitar and was a collector of bells and geese and hummingbird ornaments.
Surviving in addition to her husband and father, is a son, MacKenzie Kilby; a daughter, Holly Davis and her husband, Andrew; a stepfather, Jim Bodner; seven brothers, Graham Duckworth, Jimmy Bodner, Jr., Norbert Duckworth, Darwin Duckworth, Jeff Bodner, Darrell Duckworth, and Jonathan Bodner; a sister, Alana Duckworth; a grandson, Cooper Davis; and a granddaughter, Brianna Davis.
She was predeceased by a stepmother, Dagmar Duckworth.
