Born In Washington County, Pennsylvania, Elizabeth moved into Guernsey County with her parents about 1821 after her father William had a homestead built for his lovely young wife and 3 young daughters of which Mary was the oldest.
Elizabeth married Jacob Beckett on Dec 24, 1835. The service was preformed by Rev W Huite.They have two children together, Charlotte and Levi Lyons before her untimely death.
