Becker Robert Bruce, 66, of Eve Lake near Wolcottville, died Tuesday at his residence. He was born April 7, 1921 in Kendallville, the son of Reuben T. and Lulu (Guthrie) Becker. On July 22, 1939 in Kendallville he married Josephine O. Kline. A lifetime area resident, he was a retired pipe fitter for a Fort Wayne union for more than 30 years. Surviving are his wife; three sons, Richard, Robert, and Ronald, all Kendallville; a sister, Ersyl Dukes of Kendallville; a brother, Fred of Dallas, Texas; and seven grandchildren. Services Friday at Berhalter-Hutchins Funeral Home, Kendallville. Burial, Lake View Cemetery. + 12-8-1987
