PLANT CITY - William Lawrence Lopez, 82, of Plant City, a former Volusia County resident, died Sunday at home.
Mr. Lopez, former manager of the Correct Craft Boat Co., Oak Hill, was born in Glencoe. He lived in Oak Hill and Edgewater before moving to Plant City in 1987. He also worked for Pan Am at Cape Canaveral. Mr. Lopez was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Oak Hill. He enjoyed football, baseball, fishing and shrimping.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Addie; a son, Don, Plant City; a brother, Bennett, Oak Hill; and a granddaughter. Settle-Wilder, New Smyrna Beach, is in charge.
