William A. "Bill" Bell, 62, of Campbells Creek went home to be with the Lord Friday, February 27,2009.

He was born July 30, 1946, in Clay to the late William A. and Madeleine Bell.

Bill was a kind and generous man who loved his family and friends. He was a loving and devoted husband, a wonderful father and a very proud grandfather.

He was a Christian and a member of the Spring Fork Missionary Baptist Church for 33 years, where he served as a Deacon and Sunday school superintendent. Bill loved the Lord and enjoyed spending time with his church family.

Bill also retired from the West Virginia Parkways with 29 years of service.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 38 years, Kay Bell; one daughter, Etta Keeney of Campbells Creek; one granddaughter, Kaitlyn Keeney. He is also survived by his two sisters, Barbara Hubbard and her husband Larry of Bickmore and Janandra Nelson and her husband Glen of Maysel. He also had numerous aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; and many other family and friends who loved him. There have been many other special loved ones who have passed on before him and have been waiting for him with the Lord.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 2, at Spring Fork Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mike Long officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.

Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the church.
