Word was received here yesterday of the death in Seattle of Gertrude Schulten, daughter of a former deputy in the county clerk and recorder's office here.
Miss Schulten was born in East Helena and graduated from the Helena High School.
She was widely known in the city and news of her passing comes as a distinct shock.
She is survived by her mother, three sisters and two brothers.
