RED LODGE__ Funeral services for Charles T. Simpson, 84, Bridger, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bridger Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. John R. Lewis. Burial will be in the Bridger Cemetery.
Mr. Simpson died at 10:45 p.m. Saturday in a nursing home in Red Lodge. He had been in ill health for some time. Mr.Simpson was a retired farmer and rancher, the last of 14 children in his family. Mr. Simpson was born Jan. 8, 1877 at Highview, Iowa, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Simpson.
He married Minnie Neel Sept. 5, 1906 at Webster City, Iowa. The Simpsons made their home in Kamror, Iowa, after their marriage. They then moved to Blockton, Iowa, in 1903. In 1905 they came to Billings where they lived until 1910, and homesteaded five miles west of Bridger on Sand Creek. They retired ain Bridger in 1947.
Mr. Simpson is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Lois N. Ruckman of Cody, Wyo., and Mrs. Lisle Dickinson of Albuquerque, NM. three sons, Hallard of Denver, CO, Charles Monroe of Madera, Calif. and Neel of Roseburg, Ore. 14 grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren.
