"Jason A. Bunting, Father of Dwight Woman, Succumbs
Jason A. Bunting, 64, father of Mrs. Beulah Davis of Dwight, died unexpectedly Sunday night at his home in Pontiac.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday at the Saunemin Methodist church with the Rev. Roscoe Marks, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Sunny Slope cemetery.
Friends may call at the Behrendt funeral home.
Mr. Bunting was born Nov. 15, 1889, at Albion, a son of Amos and Ellen (Newport) Bunting.
He was married to Louella Root at Albion Jan. 15, 1913. They moved to Saunemin in 1914. Mr. Bunting was in the wholesale poultry business.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. David, Dwight, and Mrs. Marietta L. McKenna, Rock Falls; three sons, Carrol A., with the air force at Rantould, and Arville J. and Clarence H., both of Braidwood; one brother, Everett E. Bunting, Albion; 12 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Mardell Yvonne, who died in infancy, and three sisters."
