STUTTS, D.D.S ROBERT HARRISON (DR. BOB) Left this world for eternal rest with his Lord on April 19th after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Father, brother, friend and dentist, he was dearly loved by family and all who knew him. Preceded in death by his parents, Bob is survived by children: daughter K. Elizabeth and son Robert H. II; and brothers William H. (Evelyn) and Jack H. (Penny). Born December 1, 1942 in San Antonio, he attended Trinity University and Baylor Dental School. After graduating, he served as Captain in the Army Dental Corps at Fort Ord in Monterrey, CA from 1972 to 1974. Bob then moved to Dallas and began practicing dentistry. He practiced in North Dallas for 33 years and was beloved by all of his patients and staff, many of whom have become dear friends. Dr. Bob was an extraordinarily gifted dentist with the most gentle chair-side manner; respected among his peers, devoted to his patients and a true servant leader in his profession. In 2003, in conjunction with his friend and former chair-side assistant, Cindy Phillips Wood, Bob started Earports, a service which provided custom molded radio communication earpieces for Southwest and American Airlines pilots. Bob was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing and hunting trips with his son. He also enjoyed traveling and accompanied his daughter to Spain and Mallorca. Bob was a kind and loving person, soft-spoken but strong, witty and caring. He will be greatly missed. The family acknowledges with heartfelt thanks the tender care and genuine kindness of the wonderful friends, patients, colleagues, medical staff and all who cared for Bob. A memorial service will be held Monday, April 28, 12:30 PM at Restland Funeral Home in the Memorial Chapel, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243. Restland 972-238-7111 restlandfuneralhome.com
