Funeral services for Jack Lee Boatright, 66, pioneer Oklahoman, were held at 2pm Saturday in the Mallett-Green Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Al N. Glasgow, of Broken Arrow, officiating. Jack died at his home in Wagoner, Oklahoma Thursday morning, February 4, 1965, of a heart condition.

Born in Van Buren, Arkansas, he came to Oklahoma in 1900. A veteran of World War I, he was a retired Tulsa Fire Department employee and retired early this year from the Douglas Aircraft plant protection division.

Survivors are his wife Grace; two sons, Robert Dale Boatright of Tulsa and Dennis Lee Boatright of Hollis, Oklahoma; three brothers, Ray of Tulsa, George of Oklahoma City and Eddie Boatright of Shawnee, Oklahoma; two sisters, Johnnie Boatright of Tulsa and Mrs. Carl (Emile) Soliday of Sapulpa; also three grandchildren.

Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of the Mallett-Green Funeral Home of Wagoner.
