Harley Milton Clark, 77, a resident of Menard county all of his life, died Thursday in Memorial Hospital, Springfield, where he had been a patient since Dec 19th, when he suffered a fracture of his left hip in a fall. The coroner's jury held that death resulted from complications arising from the injury. The inquest was held in Springfield.
Mr Clark was born in Menard county & followed farming until 20 years ago, when he retired & moved to Petersburg. His first wife, the former Miss Margaret Rhodes, died in 1920. He is survived by his second wife, the former Miss Ida Hill, whom he married in 1937; a son, Cecil Peoria; three daughters, Mrs Opal Clary, Mrs Velda Reed & Mrs Mae Tower, all of Petersburg; one brother William A also of Petersburg.
