EDWARD A. BITTER
Edward A. Bitter, 71 (69), died Saturday afternoon at his home, 910 Edgewater avenue. Mr. Bitter had lived here for the last 40 years.
He was born July 16, 1879, at Dubuque, Ia. He was a machinist for the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific railroad.
Survivors include his wife, Beatrice; two sons, Edward P. of Sioux City, and Andrew R., now with the armed forces in Korea; two daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Casey of Sioux City and Lucille Bush (Busch) of Minneapolis; a brother, Joseph of Santa Rosa, Cal., and nine grandchildren.
Perasso Bros. funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
