She was born April 26, 1901, in Clay County, the daughter of Moses and Ida Rusk Hughes. She married Roy Walker June 20, 1918 and he preceded her in death in 1963.
She was affiliated with the Methodist Church in Noble.
Survivors include a son Fremont; daughters, Genevieve Miller and Geneva Moore Tolliver; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a sister; and a brother.
Funeral services were held in the Summers Funeral Home with burial in Greenhill Cemetery.
