"Allie Bernarte, 81, Attica, died at 10:02 p.m., Monday, September 13, 1999, in the emergency room of St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. Born March 21, 1918 near Black Rock, in Warren County, she was the daughter of Carl and Rosia Jackson Bernarte.

She was raised in Warren County and graduated from Williamsport High School. She resided most of her life in Davis Township of Fountain County. She was formerly employed at Radio Material corp. in Attica. She was a homemaker. She attended West Point Baptist church. She enjoyed reading in her spare time.

Survivors, include: brothers, Everett Bernarte, Attica, David Bernarte, Veedersburg; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Floyd, Joe, Henry and Frank Bernarte; and sister, Isabelle Bernarte.

Funeral services were 3 p.m., Thursday, with Rev. Jeff Newton officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Maus Funeral Home, Attica, was in charge of arrangements." – The Neighbor, September 22, 1999
