Florence was born in Nacogdoches in Nacogdoches Co, TX to Curtis Lee And Edna Caroline Carson Williams. Her parents are buried in Chambers Cemetery. She married Emory E. Haney. Emory and their son, Travis Paul Haney, and daughter, Pauline M. Haney Sexton, are all buried in Chambers Cemetery. Their son, Ernest Lavelle Haney, was born 6 June 1926 in Palestine,TX, and died 16 February 2010 in San Antonio and is buried in San Antonio National Cemetery. Their daughter, Cleo Delourius Haney Naylor, was born 29 March 1922 in Cherokee County, and died 29 February 2005 in San Antonio and is buried in Sunset Mausoleum #1, San Antonio. Florence later married a Bell. She was residing in Houston, Harris Co, TX at the time of her death there.
