Mrs. Beulah McMillian Hillis, 80, of Sardis entered into rest Friday, Jan. 5, 2007 at University Hospital.
Mrs. Hillis was a life-long resident of the Burke County area. She was born in Sardis to the late Marion Godbee McMillian and Henry H. McMillian. She had worked for Keller's Aluminum before retiring. Mrs. Hillis was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by a son, William "Sandy" Henry Hillis III.
Family members include a son; Mack (Marilyn) Hillis of Sardis; a daughter, Sara (Jud) Kirby of Waynesboro; a brother, Otis McMillian of Sardis; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-greatgrandson.
