The parents are possibly Edmund (30 GA) and Rachell (22 GA) COLTER on the 1850 census of Pike County, Alabama; Julia A. (6 GA) in their household is evidently Martha's sister Julia Ann, who married 1860 in Taylor County, Georgia. The unit their father enlisted in, Company C of the 59th Georgia Regiment, organized in Taylor County, Georgia. So far, I find no confirmation that Martha was born in Muscogee County. -- jml].
