Green Berry served in Co. D, 24th regiment, Miss. Infantry "Caledonia Rifles" during the civil war.
He died on April 7,1863 at the Atlanta Medical College Hospital.

Ann & Green Berry shared Andrew Egger for their great grandfather. They were second cousins.
