He was born Aug. 26, 1858, north of here in the Two Mile district and for several years made his home at Lima. He was a member of the Two Mile Christian church.
Surviving are the daughter, Mrs. Hassenier, this city; a step-son, J. M. McClintock, Green Bay, Wis.; three brothers, Grant Redd, Joseph Redd and Elza Redd, all of Lima, and two sisters, Mrs. Celia Gibbs, this city, and Mrs. Dora Haver, of Lima.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First M. E. church with the Rev. James Shellhaas officiating. Burial will be in Two Mile cemetery.
