Evie (Rossignol) Toney was a great woman who was born in DC, lived in Silver Spring, later Deale, Maryland and retired after her husband Toney died- in Leonardtown, MD.

She worked for many years as a dispatcher for AAA. Though without children of her own, she was like a grandmother to her nieces and nephews. Evie was very close with her brothers and sister, Bill, Betty,
Doug and Johnny. Evie was also famous for her chicken and dumplings
and her Maryland crab cakes.
