Born on July 21, 1820, to George & Christena (Barclay) Barron. Married Lavinia Young and had numerous children: Araminta (wife of Amos A. Adams), Sophia (wife of James Weimer), Missouri (wife of Cyrus Hemminger), and Louisa (wife of A.F. Kugs). Lavinia died on Feb. 22, 1857. Then married Catherine Gonder in 1860 and had children: Henry Franklin, Belinda J. (wife of Henry Coleman), Annie M. (wife of J.A. Berkey), Edward C., Sadie E. (wife of Edward L. Simpson), Lizzie K., Nannie K. (wife of Wesley Slagle), and John O.K.
