Mrs. Pearl M. Modesitt, 83, 322 N. Ashely St., died at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Joe Loughmiller, Jasonville; Mrs. Charles Barnett, Mrs. Violet Langdon, and Mrs. William Selby, all of Brazil, Mrs. Clint Porter, and Mrs. Carlee Evans, both of RR 3, Brazil; two sons, William and Harry, both of Brazil; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Starnett, and Mrs. Mary Metz, both of Brazil; 22 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are pending at the Lawson Funeral Home.
