He was born Nov. 8, 1937, on a farm near Eldorado, Ohio, and spent his years farming until graduating. He worked for NCR for 16 years and Parker Corporation for 28 years. He enjoyed golfing, gardening and landscaping.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 51 years, Roberta; two sons, Scott (Cheryl) Kemp of Springboro, Ohio, and Steve Kemp of Miamisburg; three grandchildren, Tiffany, Kelly and Kyle Kemp; brothers, Keith (Betsy) Kemp and family of West Manchester, Ohio; and Dick (Sue) Kemp of Arcanum, Ohio.
Funeral services were Monday, Sept. 29, at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg, with Pastor Matt Fleck officiating. Burial was in Castine Cemetery, Arcanum.
