Walter D. Clutter, 46, husband of Irene Sanders Clutter, of the Waynesburg-Cameron Star Route near Rogersville, well known president of the Center Township school board, died at his home Tuesday, Sept. 7, 1948, after an illness of the past two weeks. Death was attributed to a heart condition.
Mr. Clutter, employed by the Farm Bureau Insurance Company, was born Jan. 8, 1902, at Claysville, a son of the late John and Nettie Dehn Rice Clutter, and had spent the past eight years in the Rogersville Community where he was an active member of the Rogersville Methodist Curch. He was also a member of the Greene County Men's Chorus.
Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Fred and Reid, both at home.
