Son of George Washington Core (1846-1929) and Ardeace Francis Stanaland (1856-1904), born on 14 Mar 1894 in Wakulla County, Florida.

Arthur was a life-long resident of the Crawfordville area. On 29 Dec 1923 he married another Wakulla County native, Miss Ada Iona Mathers (Wakulla Co. marriage record has her listed as Ada Lee Mathers).

Orman Erie Core Myers (1926-1995), buried in Zion Hill Cemetery
Nettie Myrle Core Kiesche (1928- 2019)

Betty Jane Core Schimek (1933-2011), buried in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Leon County.

Arthur and Ada divorced in 1946, shortly before his death on 6 Apr 1947. He was buried in Zion Hill Cemetery where his parents; his maternal grandparents, George and Caroline Stanaland; and his paternal grandmother, Luanza Green Hammett, had been laid to rest. Since then six of his brothers and sisters have also been interred in this cemetery.
Ada Mathers Core re-married and is buried in Whiddon Lake Cemetery with the name Ada Graves (1909-1997).
