Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 8, at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel with burial in East Delta Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Boyd was born Feb. 16, 1912, in Delta County, a daughter of Lon Daniels and Blanche Slakey Daniels. She was. a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Duncancille. Her husband, James Newman Boyd, died Dec. 18, 1969.
Surviving are a son, Eugene Boyd of Gun Barrell City; two daughter, Betty Pate of Dallas and Linda January of Lake Fork; three brothers, Joe Daniels of Cedar Creek Lake, Travis Daniels of Winnsboro, and J.C. (Buz) Daniel of Yantis; three sisters,- Faye Daniels of Mount Pleasant; Sylba Oats of Cooper, and Johnnie Preston of Broadway; five grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren
