MOS: 0301 Basic Infantry Officer.

James enlisted in the Marine Reserves 5 March 1961 and went into active duty during the Vietnam War.
Arriving in Vietnam, James was assigned to 2nd Platoon of Delta Company, 1st
Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division.
James served his country for four years.
Survived by his parents, Mr & Mrs James M Mitchell Sr of Encinitas, CA.
