JoAnne Moore Carter, 64, passed away on February 11,2001 in Provo, Utah.
She was born on October 9, 1936 in Spanish Fork, Utah to William Leon and Rosalia July Davis Moore, JoAnne went to school in Spanish Fork, then moved to Provo where she lived for most of her life. She married Larry Carter and they were later divorced.
JoAnne loved life, fishing and camping. She especially enjoyed having her family around her, the more surrounding her the happier she would be. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
JoAnne is survived by her son and three daughters, Larry Edward (Starla) Carter, Carol Ann Carter Johnson, Gloria Louise Carter (John)Case, and Jessica May Carter (Robert) Ehlers all of Provo, Utah; 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; one brother and six sisters, William Albert Carter of Orem, Utah. Joy Hoppe of Springville, Utah. Harlene Carter of Orem, Utah. June Cowgill of Pleasant Grove, Utah, Flora Jean Cassels of Glen, Montana, Rosalia Mecham of Vernal, Utah, and ShirlDean of Provo, Utah; two step-sisters and one step-brother, Marie Moore of Salt Lake City, Utah, Bernice Pyne of Nevada, and Richard Carter of Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Gwendolyn Ann Carter. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2001 at 2 p.m. in the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street in Provo.
