She had suffered several strokes.
She married william G. Tinney March 1, 1942. They had two sons and traveled while Mr. Tinney was in the service.
Mrs. Tinney was secretary at the Texas County Library in Houston from 1968 to 1995, when she retired. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Houston Missouri after moving from the Oak Hill Christian Church in the White Rock community.
She was prededed in death by her husband in 1975; and by a half brother Warren Lee.
Surviving are her sons, William Colby Tinney of Cabool and Rex Lee Tinney of Houston; two half sisters Pauline Levine of Kansas City and Shirley Hurst of Mountain Grove; a half brother , Donald of Kansas City; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services were October 16 at the First Christian Church in Houston with John Frakes officiating. Burial was in the Wolford Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home of Houston.
