Funeral services will be held Saturday for Mrs. Lida Modesitt, who celebrated her one-hundredth birthday Tuesday at the Cook Nursing Home, 2058 North Seventh.
Mrs Modesitt died at 8 o'clock Thursday evening. The body was taken to the Martin Funeral Home, where services will be Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. W. Larripe will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Modesitt was the widow of George Modesitt and the daughter of the late Harrison and Luna Ball Denny, pioneer Vigo county pioneers.
Nephews and nieces surviving are Milton A. and Harry W. Denny of Terre Haute, Maurice R. Denny of Detroit, Mich; Clifford R. ?, California; Herbert Orth, ?, Wis.; Mrs Bertha Lyons of Terre Haute, Miss Grace ? and Mrs. Celia Hodgkins, Boston, Mass.
