Eva Malloy
Eva C. Malloy, 93, of Hooper, died Sunday, July 19, 1998 at the Hooper Care Center in Hooper.

Eva was born Jan. 15, 1905 in Moore, Ok., to Will Rodgers and Amelia Dreesen. She graduated from Hooper High School in 1926 and attended beauty college in Omaha following graduation. She had been a Hooper resident most of her life. She was a hairdresser in her younger years and spent most of her life as a homemaker for her family.

She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hooper and a member of the Royal Neighbors.

Eva married John E. Malloy, Feb. 12, 1929. He preceded her in death in October, 1978.

Survivors include a son, Gerald and wife Carol of Orange, Ca., a sister, Barbara Fulton of North Platte; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and a brother.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 24, 1998 at 10 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hooper. Rev. Mark Eldahl will officiate. Visitation will be held Thursday, 2-9 p.m. at Warne-Johnson Funeral Home in Hooper and after 8:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in Hooper Cemetery.

Music will be provided by Alice Dam. Casket bearers are Bob Stalp, Joel Hargens, Dick Buras, Tim Stalp, Leonard Vopalensky and Tim Wakefield.
